| Capturing the power of crashing waves on the Mendocino Coast, the gloryof the sun setting, the awe of storm fronts moving in from the Pacific,the boundless beauty and color of nature; these are the reasons I live and paint on the Mendocino Coast. All of these subjects are so conducive to my love of water media and the experimentation I enjoy so much. Some paintings are planned extensively, others are not, some are from inside my head and some are just plain magic – I think I like those the best! I paint nearly everyday and if I’m not painting, I’m researching, thinking, talking, and/or reading about art. There’s so much to learn! |
